ATC/NATCA Assistance
Good afternoon,
We recently delivered bagles and pizza to the controlers at the TRACON in PTC and they were all very greatful and wanted to convey their thanks to all of you for thinking of them while they continue to report to work, unpaid and uncertain. While there, they mentioned that they are going to engage in informational leafleting at ATL in certain concourses next tuesday, October 28. The aieport authority has authorized 46 "slots" for them to use and they need help. They have sent a link to a sign up form (below) and would be extreemely greatful for any time you may be able to go to the airport and hand out leaflets with a controller. For those of you rightly curious, PAFCA Members are able to conduct informational picketing with other represented work groups so long as that activity does not interrupt Delta's, or any other carriers for that matter, business in the terminal. PAFCA CBA §18.C states - "Employees shall be permitted to engage in informational picking with other represented workgroups. Illegal or prohibited job actions or work stoppages are not permitted". To be clear, we encourage you to help out but ensure that you do not impede customers or coworkers, call out to attend or encourage any job action or work stoppage on anyone's behalf.
Let's turn out and help our NATCA Brothers and Sisters! ( I think you even get a t-shirt out of the deal, so there's that...)

Fraternally,
-Jim for the board

I can confirm that you do get a T-shirt out of the deal. Thanks Jim for posting the RSVP link. I’m glad I was able to meet some of our union brothers and sisters in NATCA and stand in solidarity with them. They’re highly appreciative of our support, and for the bagels and pizza delivered recently to A80.
